 Music Selection
Upon request, we will mail you a complimentary sample CD with suggestions for each part of your ceremony. Please remember it’s just a sampling of our music -- for every piece on the CD there are twenty more in our gig books!
If you have specific music requests we would love to work with you to provide exactly what you are looking for! There are descriptions below to help you get started thinking about your ceremony. Also, please check the repertoire page for wedding music suggestions.
Prelude Music*
The prelude is played while guests are being seated and typically begins about 15-20 minutes before the start of the Processional.
Processional Music
The processional usually includes one piece of music for the bridesmaids, flower girls, and ring bearers, and another piece of music for the bride. The first piece can also include the groomsmen, groom, and pastor. A specific piece may also be selected for the seating of parents and grandparents at the beginning of the processional, or the quartet can continue playing prelude music during this time.
Special Music
Special music could occur during any special moments of the ceremony such as the lighting of the unity candle, a sand ceremony, etc.
Recessional Music
The recessional is played as soon as the new couple is introduced and continues while the entire bridal party exits.
Postlude Music*
Postlude music is played while guests are being ushered out and usually lasts about 15 minutes.
* We typically select the music for the Prelude and Postlude so that you don’t have to worry about it! We can easily create the atmosphere that you desire or if you have specific requests just let us know. On our CD sampler, you will have some examples of typical Processional, Recessional, and Special Music. Usually the bride and groom prefer to select these since they are prominent parts of the ceremony.
